I am writing on behalf of my father. He was the voice that announced the terror that took place in the motorcade, that fateful day in Dallas. He is very ill and won’t be with us for long. This may very well be the last chance to hear his story straight from the man. Sam Pate, radio news for KBOX in Dallas, is the man that said “There is trouble in the motorcade.” These six words shocked the world. These immortal words continue to be a powerful expression in the American lexicon and made history around the world. I would suggest anyone wanting to hear his story contact him today. Come to Dealy Plaza and meet him on November 22, 2008 at the Sixth Floor Museum. You may contact me to get his information.

Sam passed away August 3rd and services were held August 6th. The family will be donating Sam’s collection to the 6th floor museum later this year or next.
