Thank You For Being Here

Thank you for having been here. Thank you for planning on being here. When was the last time you thanked someone for just being here?
When not writing and working on Being of Life — the Blog, or out photographing images for http://www.ImagesMagical.com/, I currently work a ‘traditional’ part-time job. I was in the bathroom at my traditional job taking care of bathroom business when the janitorial person walked in to clean and tidy the bathroom. While washing my hands, I thought “when was the last (or even first) time anyone thanked this fellow for being here and cleaning the bathroom?” I turned away from the sink and faced this fellow as he was lifting cleaning supplies from the janitorial cart and said, Continue reading “Thank You For Being Here” »

Being of Life — the Blog and Images Magical web site have moved to a NEW hosting service. The web site is being updated and the Blog is being rebuilt.
March 10, 2008 Update: The major portions of the update and rebuild are complete. The new hosting service provided great support in this transition process.

A Story Into The Night

Enjoying the Lunar Eclipse on this clear night. What an amazing sight it is.
My friend, Dave, contacts me with an emergency situation. The neighbor is hysterical. Dave said that a car hit her cat. I ask which cat since the neighbor has several. It was the younger white and black spotted cat. Dave wanted me to go with him to the neighbor’s house. I joined Dave and we walked to the house, with gloves in hand. Is It Safe To Feel Safe?

AS I WALKED THE PATH
The December 2007 article in Being of Life took a strange twist. It was planned to be a tribute to all those souls who have passed on and our celebration of their life here on earth. A Christmas of remembrance of those loved one’s who are no longer with us in a physical presence. I got in my car and drove to visit Robert Martin and borrow a poem that Tiffany Martin wrote. Robert was married to Tiffany and they were life partners for nearly 40 years until in 2004 when Tiffany passed from this good planet earth; Tiffany was diagnosed with lung cancer. Her passing was tragic and too soon. Tiffany was well known for her clairvoyant and intuitive abilities. Having been a weekly guest on a Boston radio station talk show for over 10 years giving clairvoyant counseling to the listeners who called in. Tiffany provided a grounded guiding presence for those in need. She was a creative writer, photographer, mentor, and most important to me a dear friend. I knew Tiffany for nearly 30 years. I wrote of meeting Tiffany for the first time in the October 2007 article ‘Who am I?’ in Being of Life.
The poem was based on a dream that Tiffany had about 4 months before the 2001 9/11 event. A dream of visions that Tiffany could not connect directly to an event, until the day of 9/11. Tiffany wrote a poem; a poem of violence and a vision of angels. Continue reading “Is It Safe To Feel Safe?” »
