Blogger Comment – speak up

The Environment, most of us really don’t think about it until something threatens it. Feelings, thoughts and emotions have been bubbling to the surface (no pun intended) with the recent Gulf Oil Spill — or most appropriately Oil Blowout. The fish, birds and wildlife don’t care — they interact with the environment as usual, unaware — however we are aware, and even more aware now, it is our place to care. To care for our big beautiful blue marble — planet earth. The homes of these wonderful creatures have been invaded, and we need to arrest the situation and bring order to the neighborhood. Speak Up, speak your thoughts, speak your fears. Let the world know, “You are aware, and are not going to take it any longer.” My friends on Zazzle have designed some great stuff promoting the awareness of our planet. Stuff you can stick, wear, send to make your fellow earthlings even More Aware. And most importantly keep the awareness going. As the oceans are cleaned and the oil stops flowing, we need to keep the awareness going. We need to keep ourselves aware.

Don’t pass blame or anger, pass awareness. Tell these individuals and corporations that you, of this planet earth, are aware. That you care. And the future of our planet is the responsibility of all.
